Program Overview

Duration: Two Weeks
Cost: Free
Method of Study: Online
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3.5 hours per day. Morning or afternoon cohort.
Age Requirement: 18 years and older
Eligibility: Resident of Ontario, eligible to work in Canada. Displaced hospitality workers, newcomers, and individuals in receipt of Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Supports are encouraged to apply

Program Description

A work-readiness program like no other, PIVOT will make you see yourself in a different light.

Delivered in a supportive and encouraging environment, PIVOT helps you restore your confidence and recognize your talents. It will also help you gain the courage to pursue opportunities you may not have previously considered.

Program Details

PIVOT features online, instructor-led sessions, independent activities, and one-on-one coaching. It also includes group activities, resume preparation, and mock interviews.

As part of the program you will work closely with the HWTC team to develop a job search strategy and action plan. You will also be supported as you seek – and land – your dream job.

Upon completion of PIVOT you will have the opportunity to earn your Smart Serve and/or Food Handlers certifications.
