HWTC has partnered with the Learning Enrichment Foundation (LEF) to create a special, limited-enrollment program to train hospitality professionals to become Early Childhood Assistants (ECAs).

- Ensuring that the health, welfare and safety of the children remain the first priority of the centre;
- Working in collaboration with ECEs to create an environment to support children’s learning and development, utilizing provincial curriculum;
- Being actively involved and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the centre;
- Assisting with the preparation of snacks and lunches;
- Supporting the overall operation of the child care centre with tasks such as laundry, sanitizing toys, etc.;
