Course Description:
The curriculum is designed to ensure that participants have the necessary skills to be an entry level prep or line cook in a commercial kitchen. 6-weeks with HWTC, including all classroom modules and certifications 4-weeks in unpaid placement with a partner establishment The program targets youth aged 18 – 29 All participants will receive their Food Handlers certification, as well as WHMIS, Workplace Health & Safety and AODA training.
