The 10 Amazing Photos that Capture Toronto Hotel Relay 2015

One thousand Hospitality Workers across 10 properties were on hand to pass the Hotel Relay baton for the first annual Toronto Hotel Relay.

It’s not easy choosing 10 photos that capture the incredible spirit of the event and the enthusiasm of the people who participated, but we’re going to give it a try.


Adassa in Housekeeping at Toronto Airport West greeted us with a hug on the first day of the Hotel Relay. That set us off in the right direction.



Despite the busy workday, Christine from Toronto Hilton Airport  rallied together coworkers for a group shot on a sunny day.

Justin at the Chelsea Hotel told us he’d been following the entire Hotel Relay on Facebook, making us feel just a little bit famous.



Mirkek at Novotel walked us into the restaurant so he would have a chance to proudly pose in front of his favourite painting.

We got a behind-the-scenes look at the Hilton Toronto’s insanely busy kitchen at lunch time thanks to our special tour-guides Executive Chef Kevin, Chef Michael and Chef Valeri.

Delivering Customer-Experiences

JC from 1 King West’s Housekeeping Department went out of his way to hand-deliver a bag of bracelets we left in the Vault after the Housekeeping meeting.



Exceeding Expectations

Rafunzel in Housekeeping at Fairmont Royal York Hotel not only showed up just to support us in the Hotel Relay, she saved the day by lending us her phone for photos after we dropped ours. She also uploaded and sent the pictures at 2am!! (after her shift ended).

Real-Deal Hospitality

The entire team at Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites gathered to welcome the Hotel Relay to their hotel. That was what we call Hospitality!
